CYA Servant Teams

Why Servant Teams?
(Because we need YOU)

At Eastwood College & Young Adults, we believe ministry is strongest when it’s built by students and young adults, not just for them. Servant Teams are an invitation into real ownership—real responsibility, real leadership, and real ministry. These teams exist to help us share the load, grow together, and build a Christ-centered community that reaches our friends, our campus, and our city. Joining a Servant Team isn’t about filling a role—it’s about stepping into what God might want to do through you.

The Home Team
This team helps turn a house (and a ministry) into a home. The Home Team creates the welcoming, relaxed, and inviting environment that makes CYA feel like a place people want to return to and belong.

What You Might Do:

  • Help bake cookies and prepare snacks
  • Be intentional with conversations, especially with new people
  • Help clean and reset the house after gatherings

Time Commitment:
  • Serve 2–4 Monday nights per month
  • Arrive ~30 minutes early and stay ~15–30 minutes after

Why This Team Matters
Hospitality shapes the culture of our ministry—this team helps people feel seen, safe, and valued from the moment they arrive.
Music & Tech Team
This team serves by creating a space where distractions fade and hearts are drawn toward God. Through music, sound, and tech, the Music & Tech Team helps our community engage deeply with worship, Scripture, and prayer.

What You Might Do:

  • Run sound or slides during the gathering

Campus Ministry Launch Team
This team exists to help launch and lead a faithful Christian presence on campus. The Campus Ministry Launch Team serves as student representatives who help bring the mission of Eastwood CYA into the everyday life of the university.

What You Might Do:
  • Work with the university to gain student organization status
  • Help review and submit a student org constitution

  • Take photos or short videos during gatherings
  • Create graphics, captions, or flyers
